Karen S. Shape

Karen S. Shape, 71, of Urbana, died on Monday, September 29, 2014 in her residence. She was born on February 6, 1943 in Urbana, OH, the daughter of Harold and Maxine (Adkins) Burden. Karen was a member of the First Baptist Church in Urbana and worked at Carmazzis for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Sipes of Bellefontaine; a son, Jeff McClure of Lima; grandchildren, Kelly (Sean) Bruce, Brian Sipes, James (Allison) McClure, Kinsey McClure and Colleen McClure; a great-granddaughter, Elleah Mae; and a brother, Leslie Burden of Cape Coral, Fl. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Danny Burden; and husband, James Shape. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in Oak Dale Cemetery with Pastor Brian Wonn officiating. The family is being served by WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.
