Jordan Lee Dearmond

Jordan Lee DeArmond, 28, of Urbana, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in his home.
Jordan entered this world on January 4, 1988 with the doctors telling his parents that he would not survive to see even childhood. Jordan proved everyone wrong. God had other plans for Jordan and God let us have Jordan for 28 years, but needed to call him home.
Jordan leaves behind his mother, Sondra Kay Hill; his father, Eric DeArmond; two sisters, Rashaun Hafford James (Andreas) and Brittany DeArmond; brothers, Alex Hill and Devon, Tyren and Dominique DeArmond.
He also leaves behind his grandparents, Corolia Hill, Brenda DeArmond, Curtis DeArmond, Ann Russell and Brenda Wilson; aunts, Sharon Hill, Karen Givens, Latasha Bullock and Belinda DeArmond; uncles, Wendell Hill (Sarah Marsh), Tim Hill (Jackie), Ron Hill (Seika), Curtis Benton, Brian DeArmond, Michael DeArmond, Clayton DeArmond, Marcus DeArmond, Lonnie Givens and Roosevelt Bullock; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jordan also leaves behind very special friends, Brittany Bean, Brandon Rogan, Ryan Clark, Gwen Adams, Jeremy Clark and Joshlyn Underwood.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wendell Hill Sr.; a first cousin, Ronald Lloyd Hill, uncle Chris DeArmond Sr., special cousin, Raheem DeArmond; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, where Home Going services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 with Rev. Carl Vactor officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
