John E. "Johnboy" Music

John Eugene “Johnboy” Music, 40, of Urbana, beloved son, brother and father passed away in his home on Saturday, March 23, 2012. He was employed by Blockstock Federal Constructors in Drayton, SC. “Johnboy” enjoyed golf, NASCAR shooting pool, but mostly spending time with his family and friends. He was born to John and Ann (Jackson) Music, whom survive, along with his four sisters Kathy Music-Bentzin (Eric), Kaye McNeely (J.R.) Angie Maxwell (Shane Cummings), Melanie Newland two brothers, Johnny Music and Bob Newland(Olivia); two children, John Austin of Urbana and Selena Music of SC; special Uncle Jim and Aunt Joyce Jackson and Aunt Ocie Reisinger and “brother” Carl Horsley. “Johnboy” is preceded in death by his grandparents, several aunts and uncles and his beloved cousin, Keith Jackson. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday 26, 2013 and from 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, OH where the funeral service will follow at 1:30 P.M. with Pastor Aaron Samples officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mutual. Casket Bearers will be Carl Horsley, Chris New, Joe Jackson, Benny Crooks, Howard Hawkins, Luke Mossbarger and Kevin Latham. A reception will be held at the upstairs at the V.F.W, 400 N.
