Jeffrey Lynn "Jb" Birt

Jeffrey Lynn JB Birt, Sr., 55, of St. Paris, died on Sunday, September 1, 2013 in Urbana, OH. He was born on November 7, 1957 in Bellefontaine, OH, the son of Donald Eugene Birt and Virginia Ann (Wallace) Hulbert. Jeffrey was a 1976 graduate of Indian Lake High School. He loved to camp, fish and play video games and enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys, Ohio State Buckeyes and NASCAR. Survivors include his mother, Virginia and stepfather Junior Robert Hulbert, wife Paula, who he married on September 6, 2008, son, Jeffrey Birt Jr. of Urbana, daughters Amy Birt of Urbana and Brandi Birt of St. Paris, stepdaughter, Crystal (Brandon Dankworth) Helms of Quincy, stepsons Joe Helms of St. Paris, Dakoda Helms of St. Paris and Brandon Helms of St. Paris, five grandchildren, two brothers, Ronald (Denise) Birt of Bellefontaine and Kurt (Lorie) Hulbert of Huntsville, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S.
