Jeffery Lloyd McConnaughey

Jeffery Lloyd McConnaughey, age 62 of Urbana, Ohio passed away September 4, 2023. He was born October 27, 1960 in Urbana, Ohio to William and Janis (Potts) McConnaughey. Jeff is survived by his mother, Janis McConnaughey, son, Nate McConnaughey, sister, Lori Edwards, brother, Skipper (Debbie) McConnaughey, nieces: Jackie (Sean) Gilleland, Angie (Bill) Murphy, and Tiffany (Tony) Huff, and nephew, Mike McConnaughey. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, William McConnaughey. 

Jeff was a mechanic for over 35 years. He was a jack of all trades that could fix anything, whether it was plumbing, electrical, or mechanical. Jeff enjoyed fishing and race cars, especially NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the Walter and Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Kings Creek Cemetery, Urbana. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.walterfunerals.com.
