Jeanette Ann "Jan" Cox

COX, Jeanette Ann "Jan" age 60 passed away unexpectedly and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 13, 2022.  She was born on August 28, 1961 in Xenia, Ohio to the late Robert L. and Jeanette A. (Harness) Adkins.  Jan leaves behind her loving companion of 16 years, Chuck Rutherford; children: Colleen Kitchen, Savanna Kitchen, Bethany Cox, and Seth Cox; siblings: Nancy Adkins and Greg Adkins; grandchildren: Paige Rutherford, Natalie Rutherford, Tyler Kitchen, Taylor Rutherford, Madison Rutherford, and Lincoln Karg; niece, Makayla Adkins; nephew, Logon Adkins as well as the fathers of her children, Phillip Kitchen and Cecil Cox.  Jan was a devoted Christian who loved to study the Bible.  She enjoyed cooking and spending time in her flower and vegetable garden.  Jan was a true animal lover, she adored her cats and enjoyed when her family's dogs Tatum and Zyn would visit.  Jan will be deeply missed by all the people in her life, but especially by her best friend and sister, Nancy.  A visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Walter & Lewis Funeral Home.  A celebration of her life will be officiated by Ron Hughes and begin at 7:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to their crowdfunding account to help offset funeral arrangements.
