Jean Elizabeth Heitzler

Jean Elizabeth Heitzler, age 80 of Urbana, OH passed away on April 2, 2023. She was born on August 2, 1942 in Bronx, NY to the late Adolf and Evelyn Weill. Along with her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Weill, sister, Evelyn Dauerheim, grandson, Robert Heitzler, and great-granddaughter, Rosalena Cupps. Jean is survived by her children, Janice (Jim) Rheinheimer, Robert (Sharon) Heitzler, and Joseph (Crystal) Heitzler, grandchildren: Lindsay Heitzler, Michael Heitzler, Brianna (Wolfe) Heitzler, Thomas Arcati, Jessica Arcati, and Anthony Arcati, 9 great-grandchildren, brother, Thomas (Norma) Weill, sister, Norma Vanturini, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean worked as an inventory control clerk for over 25 years. Some of her favorite things to do were playing bingo and scratch-off lottery tickets.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. at the Walter and Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana. The memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.walterfunerals.com.
