Janice L. King

KING, Janice L. age 88, of Springfield passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She was born on January 4, 1934 in Mechanicsburg, Ohio to the late Roland D. and Blanche O. (Walter) Bowen. In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her daughter, Karen L. Sadler; grandson, Shane Lusk; a brother, Bud Bowen; sisters: Betty (Don) Snyder and Nancy Laird. Janice leaves behind her children to cherish her memory: Garland "Rae" (Beth Cail) King; Teresa A. Loy-Taylor and Cindy L. (Chuck) Lusk; grandchildren: Seth King, Adrienne Hutchins, Brent (Glenda) Hutchins, A.J. (Kelly) Loy, Sarah (Tommy) Young, Dylan (Julianna) Sadler, Sierra (Steve) Hillard, Joey Hillard, Laesi (Tyler) Lusk, and Jordan (Austin) Lusk Adams as well as many great-grandchildren. Janice retired from Sears Distribution Center after several years. She was part of the Little Miami Rebekah #379 and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, word searches, and being in her flower and vegetable gardens. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Fairview-Mutual Cemetery, Mutual, Ohio beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions to be made to Springfield Assisted Living or Ohio Valley Hospice.
