James O. "Jim" Adams

ADAMS, James O., “Jim” 82, of Urbana, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018. Jim was born on July 21, 1936, in Cable, Ohio, the son of the late Gilbert and Rosabelle (Hetzler) Adams. Along with his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edie D. Adams in 2003; two brothers and one sister. He is survived by sons, David K. Adams of Minster, Dannie and Darlene Stevens of Murray, Kentucky and Dennis and Laurie Adams of Dayton; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Jim worked in the construction industry in several capacities for 50 years and continued to work until the age of 75. He was a proud veteran in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a wonderful provider to his family and friends. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 4-6p.m. at WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME-Urbana with service beginning at 6p.m. A special thank you to the staff at Urbana Place for providing special care to Jim.
