James Earl Dorsey

James Earl Dorsey, 85, of Urbana, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 in his residence.
He was born January 29, 1933 in Urbana, OH, a son of Lee Morrison and Mildred Margaret (Schrubb) Dorsey. He was a supervisor at Siemens Energy & Automation and was active in the American Legion and DAV in Urbana.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Dorsey; two sons, Steve (Cindy) Dorsey and Mike (Susan) Dorsey; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Shefbuch, Matt Dorsey and Kirt Dorsey; 7 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carolyn Spellman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bea (Combs) Dorsey.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018 in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. with Chaplain Ray Branstiter officiating. Inurnment will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery Mausoleum, Urbana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion or the DAV.
