James Daniel Miller

MILLER, James Daniel “Danny”, age 63 of Urbana, formerly of Gallia County, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 14, 1959 in Troy, Ohio to the late Donald and Kathryn (Boggs) Miller. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Miller.  Danny is survived by his daughter, Amanda Miller; sister, Shirley Hidy; a host of nieces and nephews including Jeff Walters who went above and beyond to care for Danny; brother, Phillip Miller, along with a special friend, Deb Packer. Danny was the definition of a true nature lover; though he was a man of few words, he was special to those who knew him. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Walter & Lewis Funeral Home from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. with a service honoring his life beginning at 6:00 p.m. Danny will be laid to rest in Gallia County, where he was most at home, on Thursday, December 29, 2022.
