Helen Louise Welsh

Helen Louise Welsh, 84, of Urbana, OH, and formerly Upper Arlington, OH died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in Atlanta, GA. She was born in Dayton, OH on February 19, 1929 to John and Elizabeth (Donahue) North. Helen was a homemaker and retired from Bank Ohio. She is survived by her son, Joseph P. Welsh and his wife Christi of Atlanta, GA, grandsons, William North Welsh and Joseph Graham Welsh, sister, Peggy Kerns of Urbana, OH and sister-in-law, Ann Hackett of London, OH. Preceded in death by her parents and husband Joseph R. Welsh, brother William North, sister Mary Feather, Patricia Shockey of Urbana, OH, her in-laws, Howard Feather, Joseph Kerns, Robert Shockey, William Welsh, Mary Louise and Tom Toy, Vincent Welsh and David Hackett. Helen graduated from St. Mary High School and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Urbana, OH where Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Father Greg Konerman celebrant. Burial to follow the service in Oak Dale Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, OH.
