Gregory Lynn Hoffman

Gregory L. Hoffman, 60, of Urbana, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in his home. He was born January 10, 1956 in Bellefontaine, OH, a son of Kenneth Hoffman and Deloris (Wilcox) Kibler. A graduate of Graham High School, Greg owned and operated the family business, Hoffman Roofing & Siding. Greg enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, boating, shooting and riding motorcycles. However, family was his first love and his grandchildren brought him great joy. He was a great man, always smiling and loved by all. Survivors include his parents; wife, Sheila (Pendergrass) Hoffman, who he married on January 31, 1985; a daughter, Debra (Hoffman) Wilhelm; sons, Douglas (Heather) Hoffman and Daniel (Michelle) Hoffman; stepson, Chance Adams; and 12 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Masonic services will be held at 6:45 p.m. by the Mad River Lodge 161. A service will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 with Pastor Larry Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Kings Creek Cemetery.
