Grace A. Trainum

Grace A. Trainum, 92, of Urbana, died on Thursday, March 5, 2015 in Mercy McAuley Center, Urbana. She was born on August 2, 1922 in Sterling, ILL, the daughter of William and Nellie (Grist) Stanley. Grace graduated from Milford Center High School and retired from Plastic Research Products. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Clark of Urbana; grandchildren, Morgan Clark and William Clark, both of Urbana; great-grandchildren, William Borden, Steven Borden and Kira Kerns; and nieces, Mary Ann Jewell of Urbana and Dee (Bill) Gibson, of Urbana. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Woodrow Lefty Trainum in 1981; sisters, Flora Mae Giddy and Clara Ann Stanley; and 3 nieces, Elizabeth Giddy, Nellie Stanley and Annette Nettie Yohn. At her request, Grace will be cremated and there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice, 444 W. Harding Road, Springfield, OH 45504.
