Goldie Maxine Mcdonald

Goldie “Maxine” McDonald, 81, of Urbana, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in her residence.
She was born on February 9, 1936 in Cable, OH, a daughter of Claude and Florence (Swisher) Rice. Goldie retired from retail after over 20 years of service and she was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Joyce Slone (Vernon) and Kathy Hildreth (Donald Routt); 5 granddaughters, Christina Walborn and James Weyandt, Torrie and Josh Dodds, Kellie Jenkins, Summer Routt and Deanna Moon and Jammie Jenkins; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great, great-grandchildren; and special friends, Debbie and Sandy.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Sherman Jenkins and Billy McDonald; son, James E. Jenkins; parents, Claude Oscar Rice and Florence Swisher Rice; granddaughter, Tammie Seabrook; two sisters, Dorthy Ewing and Joanne Vaught; and two brothers, Kenneth Rice and Oscar Rice.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.
Pallbearers will be Jim Weyandt, Josh Dodds, Raymond Rice, Jay Griffith, Devin Walborn, Summer Routt, Bianca Ratcliff, Lacy Ratcliff, Cheyenne Walborn and Corey Dodds. Honorary pallbearers will be Donny Routt and Vernon Slone.
