George William Clark "Bill" passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2024 at 11:13 a.m. surrounded by love and family.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary L. Clark (Arms), children, Bruce Goodwin (Kim), Greg Erwin, and Jackie Troesch, grandchildren, Rhiannon Brown (Matthew), Brittney Cardinale, Christen Reany (Jeremy-deceased), Justin Ludwick, Jessica Dailey (Brandon), Nicholas Goodwin (Courtney- deceased), Brande J. Smith (Ed Smith), Ashley Erwin, Cody Erwin, Casey Erwin, Courtney Erwin, and Clinton Erwin, great-grandchildren, Trysten Humble, Jaydn Humble, BrynnLeigh Humble, Jaxon Humble, Stryker Brown, Maribelle Benson, Rowen Cardinale, Louie Cardinale, Luke Reany, Anna Ludwick, Andre Tadlock-Wood, Aurora Grace Dailey, Joshua Wallace, Jeremiah Middleton II, Alyson Middleton, Callista Thompson, Dakota Simpson, Audrey Ropp, Hailey Blybaugh, Colton Harmon, and Myles Harmon, brother, Buzz Clark (Nancy), and sister-in-law, Deloris Clark.
Bill was preceded in death by parents, Lillian and Gerald Clark, son, Jeff Erwin and brother, Gerald "Pug" Clark.
Bill was a member of the VFW Post 3320 and Heart of Ohio Fishing and Game.
Bill "Papa" lived a very simple life and loved his wife, family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren more than words could ever express. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for his family. Bill worked for Siemens for 41.5 years and was a Vietnam Army Veteran. He loved spending time with his great-grandchildren, fishing, and hunting. He is the center of many special memories and he will be missed dearly. We will hold you in our hearts until we meet you again.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 10:00-1:00 p.m. at the Walter and Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
