Frank Alan Wagner

Frank Alan Wagner, 89, of Urbana, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Springfield Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 20, 1928 in Henryetta, OK, a son of Selmer and Margaret (Merrick) Wagner. Frank graduated from Withrow High School in Cincinnati, joined the Army Air Corps to become a WWII Veteran and went on to graduate from Bowling Green in 1953. He was a loyal Sigma Chi, Mason, member of the First Presbyterian Church in Urbana, and friend to all he met.
Frank was a longtime member at the Urbana Country Club who loved to play golf with his wife and many friends.
Survivors include his wife Ina Mae (Pugh) Wagner of 66 years; children, Roger (Kim) Wagner, Michael (Elizabeth) Wagner and Cassandra (Terry) Koster; grandchildren, Jeff Wagner, Kyle (Krista) Wagner, Luke (Blair) Wagner, Mark Wagner, Brad (Kelly) Wagner, Wes (Lindsey) Wagner, Michael Wagner, Ashley (Ray) Cook, Ryan Michael (Rachael) Ritchie, Robert Ritchie, Roger Ritchie, Mason Wagner and Hillary Wagner; great-grandchildren, Katherine, Molly, Makayla, Layla and Maddox Wagner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Wagner; and, sister, June Wagner.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017 with Rev. Steven Schumm officiating.
