Frances "Frannie" S. Lokai

Frances S. “Frannie” Lokai, 63, of Urbana, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017.
She was born on December 9, 1953 in Urbana, OH, a daughter of Francis “Frank” and Elva (Lewis) Lokai. Frannie was in the first class at Lawnview School and also attended the Workshop and participated in Special Olympics. She enjoyed walks with her dad every day. She was very artistic, loved dancing, music, singing and birthday parties and adored all animals.
Frannie always knew how to make people smile and laugh.
Survivors include her siblings, Jan (Jim) Albright of Verona, WI, Larry (Elaine) Lokai of Urbana, Rosalie (Wayne) Deri of Farmington, ME, Jim Lokai of Urbana, Dr. Michael (Robin) Lokai of Ocala, FL, Nancy (Frank) Baldwin of Urbana, Angela (Robert) Greenlee of Urbana, Cecelia (Ben) Minnich of Urbana and Rick Lokai of Huntsville, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in the St. Mary Catholic Church, 231 Washington Ave., Urbana, with Father Matt Lee, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.
