Eva L. Lloyd Baker

Eva L. (Bowman) Lloyd Baker, 89, reunited with the love of her life, Lester E. Lloyd, on March 30, 2013. Born August 25, 1923, her warm smile and twinkling blue eyes are greatly missed by her loving daughter, Ruth Ann (Phil) Herzog, a sister Darlene (Paul) Mason, daughter-in-law Rita Lloyd and son-in-law Fred Scott. Eva’s legacy of love includes one granddaughter, 9 grandsons, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, second husband Ferby R. Baker, daughter, Betty Jean Scott in 2010, her son Dick Lloyd in 2011 and sister Betty Hunter. Next to spending time with her family, Eva’s favorite pastime was her dogs, usually found on her lap. The family will receive friends 11:00 A.M.-Noon on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, where a service will be held at Noon, with Rev. Dick McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Cemetery, Springfield, OH. The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Richard Darr and to the nursing staff at McAuley Center for all their tender loving care.
