Estil A. Miller

Estil A. Miller, 60, of Urbana, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 after a short battle with cancer.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart, Lovada Sue (Blosser), who he wed on October 15, 1977.
Other survivors include his daughters, Julie Miller-Artis and Elizabeth Miller-Inman of Urbana; grandsons, Lee, Shylow and Deeter, of Urbana; siblings, Michael (Phyllis) Miller of Troy, Shirley Glover of Terra Haute, Leo (Dawn) Miller of Lebanon; brothers-in-law, David (Chris) Blosser of Hudson, FL, Steve (Sue) Blosser of Urbana; sisters-in-law, Linda Blosser of Knoxville, TN, Elsie (Jay) Hand of St. Louis, MO, Stella (Jim) Whightsel of Reynoldsburg, and Patty Blosser of Greenville; former sisters-in-law, Nancy and Sarah; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Rosamary (Biles) Miller, Oscar and Delilah (Holbrook) Blosser; grandson, Elijah David; son-in-law, Nick Siehl; brothers-in-law, Dwight Glover, Earl Blosser and Ron Carroll; and sister-in-law, Julia Carroll.
Estil was a mechanical and process engineer for 40-plus years in the Dayton, OH area. He loved hunting, fishing and boating. He also enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. with his wife to see lighthouses, carousels and battleships. He also loved NASCAR and anything Dale Earnhart, Sr.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home at 642 S. Main St., Urbana, OH 43078 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
