Emily Rae Barnett

Emily Rae Barnett, age 87, of Cable, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Spring Meadows Care Center in Woodstock. She was born on January 6, 1935, in Champaign County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth (Teets) Barnhart. Emily is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Harold) Kaiser, Theresa Barnett and Sandra (Scott) Barnett. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Neil Barnett on November 18, 2006. Emily was a wonderful mother who loved reading and was passionate about animals. Her loving smile and caring ways will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11a.m. at Oak Dale Cemetery.
