Eileen Chapman

Eileen Chapman, 85, of Urbana, passed away at 2:40 A.M., Sunday, April 14, 2013 in her residence. She was born November 23, 1927 in Urbana, a daughter of John M. and Gladys (Withem) Campbell. Eileen was a 1945 graduate of Urbana High School and she retired from Siemens. She is survived by her husband Ralph E. Chapman, son, John E. Mason and his wife Nan, of Urbana; grandson Derrick “Dirk” Mason and fiancée Jenny of Bellefontaine; great grandchildren, Gabriel and Aubree Mason; sister-in-law Betty Campbell of Belle Center, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Adrian Griffin; and brother, John Campbell, Jr. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty with Rev. Robert Knox officiating. The family is being served by the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.
