Edna Ruth Ridenour

On October 29, 2023, our beloved mother, Edna Ridenour, passed into God’s graces. She was born on February 20, 1937, to Albert and Martha Thurman in Chattanooga, TN. She was a beacon of light throughout her life with a kind heart and soul, she was 86 years old. She leaves behind many who will miss her dearly including daughters, Pamela (Keith) Thacker of Urbana and Billie Grimm (Mike Hurley) of Urbana, brother Richard Thurman of Knoxville, 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, and her beloved cats that she loved so much. She is predeceased by her parents Albert and Martha Thurman, step-father, Luther Ridenour; beloved husband Billy Ridenour, brother Alvin Thurman, loving daughters Teresa Ridenour, Susan McClaskie (Richard), and loving son Allen Ridenour (Tonya Huffman).
