Doris Jean Neer

Doris Jean Neer, 83, of Tucson, AZ, died July 24, 2012 in San Nicholas Assisted Living, Tucson, AZ. She was born March 7, 1929 in Urbana, OH, a daughter of Lester William & Goldie Belle (Faulkner) Neer. Doris worked as a Configuration Management Specialist for the United States Air Force. Survivors include sister Mary Skiles of Tucson, AZ, and brother Charles and his wife Rosalind Neer of Columbus, OH, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Mildred Engle Family will receive friends from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main Street, Urbana where services will be held at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Eldon Shaner officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Urbana. Following the service fellowship will continue at Urbana Church of Christ in Christian Union, 1101 N. Main Street, Urbana.
