Donnie Dale James

JAMES, Donnie Dale age 68 of Cable, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton.  He was born on May 2, 1954 to the late Harold and Jane (Instine) James. In addition to his parents, Donnie is preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle "Micki" James.  He leaves behind his beloved wife of 16 years, Cheryl James; children: Samantha Hook, Jeremy (Lindsay Boyer) James, Tracy (Hank Messenger) Sherman, Tammy (Bill) McGrath, and Todd Sherman; grandchildren: Ryan, Jessie, Wyatt, Michael, Arielle, Paige, Sydney, Aiden, Lauren, and Liam; great-grandson, Will, his cousin Bill Instine as well as his beloved pets, Cookie, Doobie, and Munster. Donnie retired from the City of Urbana after nearly 30 years. He enjoyed stock car racing in his "Ford Eater" at Shady Bowl.
