Donna J. Campbell

Donna J. Campbell, age 87, of Cable, went Home to join her husband on Friday, June 17, 2016 in the Mercy McAuley Center, Urbana. Donna was born on April 25, 1929 to the late Dana and Ethel (Smail) Lockwood in Concord Township. Donna was a 1948 graduate of Concord High School, a long-time member of the Cable United Methodist Church, and former member of the Cable Homemakers Club. She also worked at the Triad Elementary Library. Donna loved to read and loved her books, she also enjoyed doing word searches.
She is survived by a daughter, Dianna “Dee” (Keith) Dern of Urbana; one brother, Edwin (Donna) Lockwood of Missouri; sisters-in-law, Janet Lockwood of St. Paris, and Alberta Whisler of Indiana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Lowell E. Campbell; siblings, June Propst, Dana “Ike” Lockwood, Constance Hart, Gary Lockwood, and Barney Lockwood.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME (642 S. Main St. Urbana, OH 43078) where a service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2016, with Pastor Robert Blosser officiating. Burial to follow in Oak Dale Cemetery.
