David Bryan Snyder

David B. Snyder, 64 of Springfield, passed away on February 19,2025. He was born on November 28, 1960 in Urbana, Ohio to the late Donald and Betty Snyder.

He was a 1979 graduate of Urbana High School and 1987 graduate of Wright State University where he received a degree in Computer Engineering.

David retired in February, 2021 from Radiance Technologies and had many years of government contracting work at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

David has always had a passion for flying and previously had his pilot's license and was also a long time Member of the Springfield Model Airplane Club where he enjoyed flying remote control airplanes. He also enjoyed traveling to Flea Markets, Ohio State Football, gardening and sitting on the patio drinking coffee and watching the birds with Lori.

David is survived by his loving wife, Lori, who were married 40 years; sister Tammy Gibson, brother Scott Snyder (Jennifer); sister and brother in laws Cara and Jim Mamer, Steve and Patricia Rowe and Julie Craft; nieces and nephews Luke (Reagan) Mamer, Logan (Madison) Mamer, Tanner (Kyla) Rowe, Tate (Lindsey) Rowe, Tess (Michael) Rowe, Nicole, Madison, Hannah and Lee, and great nieces and nephews Maeve, Collins and Baker Mamer and Parker Rowe.

David is preceded in death by his parents and mother and father in law Larry and Peggy Rowe. Private burial services will b e held at the convenience of the family with a Public Memorial Service to be held Wednesday, February 26th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org/donate. Arrangements are entrusted to Walter and Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana.
