Daisy Mae Halley

Daisy Mae Halley, 84, of Urbana, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. She was born on July 20, 1938 in Pickaway County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charlie and Anna (Cox) Martindill. Daisy is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Monroe Halley, Sr.; daughter, Beverly Halley; son-in-law, Mike Hutchinson; granddaughter, Amanda K. Hutchinson; sisters, Mary Osborne and Edna Rutherford; and brother, Charlie Martindill. She is survived by her children, Linda L. (Kenny) Garver, Brenda K. Hutchinson and Frank J. Halley, Jr.; grandchildren, Debbie K. (Tom) Wynn, Stacy M. (Roger) Eaton, Kelly L. (Fred) Triplett, Michelle L. (Jeff) Moore and Andrew M. (Rachelle) Hutchinson; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Daisy was self-employed, cleaning houses around town. She loved collecting porcelain dolls, going to garage sales and singing hymns while cooking and dancing. She had the most beautiful glowing smile that will be deeply missed. Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 5-7p.m. at Walter & Lewis Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be on Friday, November 4 at 11:00a.m. also at the funeral home.
