Curtis R. Cabbell

Curtis R. Cabbell, 57 of Urbana, died at 12:20 P.M. Friday, August 10, 2012 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1955 in Portsmouth, VA a son of Thomas Richard & Selena (Brown) Cabbell. Curtis graduated from Charleston High School, Charleston WV and attended the University of Cincinnati. He worked at Honda of America as a welder. Survivors include his wife Ava (Dolby) Cabbell whom he married June 9, 1979, his mother, Selena Cabbell, daughter, Heather Cabbell of Urbana, grandchildren, Hayley and Thomas and sisters Cheryl (Doug) Vanacore and Anita (Kenny) Deonarine, both of Queens, NY, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Allen (Flora) Nash, Mililani, HI, Beverly Williams, Las Vegas, NV, David (Marcia) Nash, Urbana, OH, Clarice (Ervin) Hurd, Las Vegas, NV, Bill (Angie) Dolby, Urbana, OH and Bryan (Carla) Dolby, London, OH. and several nieces, nephews, cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Richard and grandparents. Honoring his request he will be cremated and there will be no services.
