Cora C. Mclaughlin

Cora C. McLaughlin, age 84, of Urbana passed away on February 10, 2018 at Vancrest of Urbana. She was born on October 9, 1933 to the late John and Viola (Tomblin) Milliron in Peebles, Ohio. In addition to her parents, Cora is preceded in death by her sons: Jerry McLaughlin, Larry McLaughlin, and Michael Mclaughlin; her daughter, Marsha Kay McLaughlin; a brother, John Milliron; sisters, Evelyn Ward and Olive Frost. She is survived by her daughter, Pearl Ann (McLaughlin) Gilliam; eight grandchildren: Rodney, Shane, Mindy, Nick, Tyrone, Shawn, Charlotte, and Josh; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd Milliron; as well as her daughter-in-law, Gladys McLaughlin. Cora was a dedicated and hardworking employee for Millner's Cafeteria for 39 years. She was the Queen of bingo at Vancrest and never met a stranger. Most of all, Cora was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, with her funeral following on Thursday, February 15 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Nettle Creek Cemetery, Westville.
