Cheryl S. Pyle, MeMe, age 66, of Tremont City, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at Springfield Regional Hospital. She was born in Urbana on June 19, 1949 to the late Charles Bill and Elizabeth (Evilsizor) Boyer. Cheryl enjoyed flower gardening, shopping (especially QVC), and spending time with her friends and family. She also had a great love for children and was an inspiration to many. She attended the High Street Nazarene Church and retired from Navistar. Cheryl is survived by two daughters, Heidi Pyle and Holly Lahman; one grandson, Lucas Pyle; a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Pyle; a sister, Debi Grimm; brother, Greg Boyer; aunts, Jeannie Larry and Sharon Evilsizor; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; dear friends, Bonnie and Jackie, and the Ingerman Family; as well as her beloved dog, Nikki. Along with her loving parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by an aunt, Betty Watson; cousin, Jeffrey Watson; and uncle, Bill Evilsizor. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015, from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a funeral service will follow, beginning at 11 a.m. with Rev. Forrest Godin officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Cheryls honor to St. Judes Childrens Hospital (PO Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908).
