Charles "Chuck" Odell Salyer

Charles “Chuck” Odell Salyer, age 64 of Saint Paris, Ohio passed away November 6, 2023. He was born September 7, 1959 in Urbana, Ohio to the late Tony (Digger) Odell and Wilma (Slone) Salyer. Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Angie Salyer, children, Kara Salyer and Nathan Salyer, grandchildren, Hayden, Lauryn, Cailyn, Devin, and Adelyne, great-grandchildren, Dallas and Ava, brothers, Todd and Greg Salyer, sister, Vonnie (Ed) Ingle, nephews, Tyler and Matt, niece, Amy, and uncle, Vernon Slone. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Art and Pini Peters and Fonzie and Cynthia Salyer. Chuck was a graduate of Urbana High School and a United States Marine. He worked at Siemens Urbana for 30 years and later drove a semi truck for Cardinal Logistics. Chuck also enjoyed fishing and playing the harmonica. Chuck will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A man is not judged by how much he loved, but by how much he was loved, and Chuck was loved a lot.
