Chad William Troyer, a vibrant soul adorned with an engaging smile, departed this world on February 6, 2025, in Melbourne, Florida. Born on November 26, 1970, in Urbana, Ohio, Chad was a beacon of lively charm and wit. From his earliest days, he embraced life with a delight that was infectious; if you had the privilege of spending time with him and didn't leave with a smile, it was surely your own fault.
Chad dedicated his professional life to running his own business, Kurbside Adjusting which he was profoundly proud of. He was a true tinkerer, always finding creative solutions and innovative paths forward. Whether it was at work or in his personal pursuits, his spirit shone brightly.
A man of boundless energy, Chad relished adventure and exploration. He loved traveling, establishing connections, and keeping in touch with everyone he met along the way, never meeting a stranger. His warmth radiated through his relationships, be they with family, friends, or acquaintances. Chad took immense joy in car shows too, often seen admiring the beauty of classic machines, which mirrored his own appreciation for craftsmanship and dedication.
Chad is survived by his daughter, Gracie Troyer, and granddaughter, Adalynn, who were a source of profound joy in his life. His cherished dog, Kurbie, was never far from his side, adding to the love that filled Chad's home. In addition, he leaves behind his parents, Don and Tami; brother, Toby Troyer, and numerous aunts and uncles, including Jerry (Karen) Evilsizor, Shelley Wallace, and Lori (Jim) Gawronski, each of whom carried a piece of his heart. A special bond existed with his cousins—Laurel, Jason, Ryan, Andrew, Edward, and Madison—who were fortunate to share laughter, stories, and unforgettable memories with him. Chad’s legacy will resonate deeply within the hearts of all who knew him, including those special friends and extended family members who enriched his life. In the embrace of family and friends, he found his true home, filling every moment with love and joy. Chad was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sharon Evilsizor; aunts and uncle, Janice Millice, Bonita Johnson and Jim Troyer; special cousin, Jeff Watson; and close friend, Davy Channel.
A visitation will be held on February 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Urbana, Ohio. As we celebrate the life of Chad William Troyer, let us remember his kindness, his contagious laugh, and the way he taught us all to live life to the fullest. His journey may have concluded, but his spirit will forever inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. To honor his bigger than life heart, in lieu of flowers, give a random act of kindness and remember Chad in doing so.
