Cecil Ray Farmer, age 63 of Urbana, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday, July 10, 2023. He was born on September 7, 1959, in Urbana, the son of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Fox) Farmer. Cecil graduated from Triad High School and was best known in Urbana for owning and operating Bill’s Enchanted Flowers and Gifts. He loved decorating and making flower arrangements and enjoyed seeing the joy it brought others on the receiving end. He treasured the time he spent shopping with his sister and always knew how to have fun. Everything in his life was described by him as “fabulous”. He had a smile that could brighten a room and a personality that was adored by all who knew him. His untimely passing created a hole in many hearts but the joyous way he lived his life will forever continue in those he loved. Cecil is survived by his sisters, Deb (Darrell) Wilkins and Sue (Jay) Bailey; brother, Paul Farmer; sister-in-law, Sherry Farmer; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Farmer. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 22 at 12p.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
