Carolyn Ann Nichols

NICHOLS, Carolyn Ann, age 60 of Urbana, Ohio passed away on May 5, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born January 7, 1963 in Gallipolis, Ohio. She is the daughter of the late Bruce Delbert Osborne Sr. and Mary Marie (Martindale) Osborne.

She is survived by her 4 children, Nicole Marie Nichols, Ernest Lee (Brandi) Nichols Jr., James Delbert Nichols Sr. and Robert Allen Nichols, brothers, Carl Ramsey Jr., James Edward (Vinnie) Osborne, Bruce Delbert Osborne Sr., and Richard Allen Osborne, sister, Marsha Meadows, twin sister, Connie Sue (Rex) Smith, grandchildren, Kaylee, Kendra, Jessica, Nicholas, Christina, Kaitlyn, Casey, James, Gracie, Kaiden, Jansen, and Brandon, sisters-in-law, Betty Bidwell and Jeanette (Melvin) Parker, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Ernest Lee Nichols Sr., brother, Robert Eugene Osborne, and sister, Barbara King.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Walter and Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 12:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Carolyn will be laid to rest at Oak Dale Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
