Bruce Martin Lee

Bruce Martin Lee, age 70, of Springfield, passed away in his home on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. He was born on October 1, 1951, in Greenfield, Ohio, the son of the late Robert E. and Jessie E. (Davis) Lee. Bruce is survived by his long time companion of 36 years, Kathy Bailey of Urbana, Ohio; siblings, Kathy (Jim) Howell of Jonesport, Maine, Sylvia Keller of Enon, Ohio, Claudia Starker of Chester, Virginia, Bob (Joanne) Lee of Munford, Alabama and David (Sharon) Lee of Peebles, Ohio; brother-in-law, Paige Lynette of Orlando, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his half brother, Jim Smallridge; sisters, Gloria Ockerman, Diane Robinson and Sherry Lynette; and brothers-in-law, Ron Keller and Paul Ockerman. Bruce loved gardening and going to flea markets. He was an avid collector of all and loved giving to others. His late night diner runs introduced him to many people and he never met a stranger. Once he talked to you, you were a friend. Being social was a part of who he was and within 5 minutes, he knew more about you than what most people would know in a lifetime. He never missed a birthday and loved sending cards to all he knew. His legacy for loving others and lending a helping hand will forever live on through his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 2-4p.m. at Walter & Lewis Funeral Home, 642 S.
