Bonnie Lou Kress

Bonnie L. Kress, age 89, of Urbana, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 10, 2017. She was born on February 25, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Thomas B. and Goldie I. (Mason) Reed.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her two sisters, Ann Harrington and Jean Schuler; brother, David S. Reed as well as a granddaughter, Emily Sarah Lyons.
She leaves behind five children: Daniel T. (Dianne) Kress, Diana L. Lyons, Douglas L. (Linda) Kress, Debra S. Kress and David J. (Teresa) Kress Sr. Bonnie also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She graduated in the class of 1946 from North High School in Columbus. Bonnie also was a member of the International Society of Poets. She volunteered for Twig 27 at the hospital and was a President member for 8 years. Bonnie took part in the Ruth Lions Christmas Fund and retired as a legal secretary to the city prosecutor, Joseph Palmer.
