Bonita Sue “Suzy” Wilson
Bonita Sue Wilson, 68, of Urbana, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in her residence.
She was born on July 15, 1949 in Huntington, W. VA, a daughter of Fred and Eloise “Ward” Dobbins. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and sister Joann Roby Tolley. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, John Michael Wilson, daughters Kimberly Jo Wilson Jacquemart, Charlotte (Charlie) Wendlend and Joshua Michael (Melinda) Wilson and extended family nieces and nephew Rhonda (Tom) James, Christina (Tim) Jones, Julie (Ryan) Cole and Nicholas (Kristy) Roby, including numerous grandsons and granddaughter and grand nieces and nephews.
Suzy loved all children and especially teenagers. She taught high school mathematics at Grace Baptist Christian School retiring after 22 years to stay at home and babysit her new grandchildren. She loved the outdoors and preferred always to be outside instead of in the kitchen. She was a perfectionist with talents including building computers, painting and making fishing lures. She shared her husbands love of fishing and spent many vacations traveling to Canada always ready to go out and catch a big one.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church for 52 years and loved to hear good preaching. Her life verse was Ephesians 4, 31,32. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice; and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.on Thursday, May 24, 2018 with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. and officiated by Pastor Aaron Samples at Grace Baptist Church, 960 Childrens Home Road, Urbana, Ohio 43078. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Grace Baptist Church.
