Beverly Jean Mirrell

Beverly Jean Mirrell, age 85 of Urbana, Ohio passed away August 16, 2024. She was born September 16, 1938 in Urbana, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Kathleen (Bunnell) Jenkins. Beverly is survived by her loving children, Ronald (Pat) Mirrell and Brenda (Darryl) Walters, grandchildren, Dana, Christopher, and Levi, great-grandchildren, Lacan, Samantha (Michael), Makenzie, Mercedez, and Jaden, great-great grandson, Beau, and sister, Debbie Dunham. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Willis H. Mirrell. 

Throughout her life, Beverly dedicated herself to several diverse and fulfilling careers, leaving her indelible mark in various fields. Her professional journey included working several years at Grimes, five years at Ultramet, a decade in accounting at Firestone, 12 years doing books and records for Dr. Nabil Migally, and finally owning her own beauty parlor on East Court Street in town where she showcased her talents doing nails. Beverly’s interests extended well beyond her professional endeavors. She was a devoted family woman, whose love enveloped her children, grandchildren, and her cherished dogs. Beverly also found joy in knitting and crocheting. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Walter and Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana.
