Beulah Mae Young

YOUNG, Beulah Mae lovingly known as “Bea” age 87 of Urbana, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 1, 2024.  She was born on February 9, 1937 in Urbana, Ohio to the late Ada (Markin) Daniels and Robert L. (Clora) Copas.  In addition to her parents, Bea was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Marion F. “Bud” Young; siblings: Bobby Copas, Ruthann Copas, Donald Copas, and Sandra Day.  She leaves behind her loving children: Marion Francis (Barb) Young Jr., Gary M. Young, Lisa M. (Ron) George, Loretta M. Young, and Christopher M. Young; siblings: Paul Copas, Terry Copas, Bonnie Mattox, Ruby Jones, Linda Wallace, and Vickie Lee. Bea was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family who survive her.  She was a devoted member of River of Life Church until recent years when her health began to fail her.  She was an amazing prayer warrior, who enjoyed being a Cub Scout leader and TWIG volunteer for the local hospital.  A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at River of Life Christian Center, officiated by Pastor Dan Leiker beginning at 11:00 a.m.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Oak Dale Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial contributions to be made to her church or Hospice of Dayton.
