MYERS, Betty Jean age 96, lifelong resident of Urbana, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Oakwood Village. She was born on October 8, 1927 to the late Francis E. and Bernice (Gaver) Campbell in Urbana, Ohio. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 74 years, Marlyn Myers; sister, Doris (Harry) Holland and long time family friend, Earl Crabtree. She leaves behind her loving son, Michael (Susan) Myers; granddaughter, Meredith (Dave) Carrier; great-granddaughter, Evie Carrier; sister, Treva (Homer) Crabtree and special nephews: Jim Holland and Scott (Vicki) Myers. Betty was a longtime member of the Urbana Church of the Nazarene. She worked for Grimes Manufacturing and retired from Honeywell Aerospace. On any nice day you could find Betty soaking up the sun while reading a good book. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her.
