Betty L. Elsass

Betty, L. Elsass, 84, of Urbana, died at 12:39 P.M. Saturday, December 1, 2012 in Vancrest of Urbana. She was born March 10, 1928 in St. Marys, OH, a daughter of Chester and Marybelle (Magdalene) Elsea. Betty enjoyed her grandchildren, attending flea markets, and the company of those that stopped to visit with her. Survivors include 5 daughters; Donna Penny (James Stratton) of Dayton, Bonnie (Herschel) Mantooth of Dayton, Dixie (Carl) Ellis of Bradford, Shirley (Gene) Slaughter, of Marysville, Rhonda Elsass of AL; 3 sons, David Cotterman of Piqua, Raymond J. “Chub” (Angela) Elsass of Urbana, Denver (Pamela) Elsass of Urbana; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond E. Elsass, son Russell “Rusty” Cotterman and five brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends 11:30A.M.-1:30 P..M. Saturday, December 8, 2012 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana where a memorial service will be held at 1:30 P.M with Pastor Russell Street officiating.
