Betty Jane Johnson

Betty Jane Johnson, age 80, of Urbana, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2021. She was born on July 29, 1940, the daughter of the late Paul and Lillian (Sprinkle) Blosser.
Betty is survived by her sons, Roger, Vincent (Frances) and Eric (Amy) Johnson; grandchildren, Lee, Quinton, Ethan, Angie and Jackie; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Betty), Gene (Peggy) and Richard Blosser; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Paul and Pete Blosser, Barbara Chamberland and Virginia Miller.
Betty sold insurance in Urbana for over 40 years. She was a dedicated member at the Urbana Church of Christ in Christian Union for over 50 years. She loved vacationing in Florida on the beach, collecting seashells, lighthouses and frogs and above all else, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 4-6p.m. at Walter & Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, February 12 at 11a.m. at the Urbana Church of Christ in Christian Union. Entombment to follow at Oak Dale Cemetery.
