Betty J. Martin

Betty J. Martin, 80, of Urbana, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. She was born on June 23, 1933 in Mingo, OH. Betty was a 1951 graduate of Urbana High School and had worked at the Title Department for Champaign County and Grimes Manufacturing. She was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes football and basketball teams and the Cleveland Browns. Betty enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Angel. Survivors include a daughter, Ann Stickley and her husband Wally of Urbana; two sons, Mike Martin and his wife Kim of North Lewisburg, and Gary Martin and his wife Barbara of Urbana; 7 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Evelyn (Spence) Kitselman. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Hackworth officiating.
