Barbara Lee Willeke-Stillings, of Urbana, 59, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, October 27, 2012. Barb was born in Kenton, Ohio on October 19, 1953 to the late Vernal and Marilyn (Wilkerson) Willeke. She was preceded in death by sister Cheryl (Willeke) Bensman, nephew Jonathan Bensman, and brother-in-law Gerald Stillings. Barb is survived by: Her loving husband, Phil, whom she married on December 28, 2001 in Maryville, TN; daughter Shannon (Jeff) Stevens-Spence and son Floyd Stevens; sister Deb (Dennis) Bensman; brother-in-law Ron Bensman; brother Steven Willeke; sister-in-law Diane (George) Cady; brother-in-law Roger (Judy) Stillings; stepchildren Randy Stillings, Amber Stillings, and Wendy (Michael) Stillings-Barnes; grandchildren Gavin Spence, Shawn, Andrea and Nicole Stevens; step-grandchildren Brandon (Heather) Spence and Amber Spence, Reagan Stillings, Michael Jr., Nathaniel and Andrew Barnes; step great-grandchildren Aubri Spence and Kelis Hayes; nieces and nephews Dawn (Monte) Heppard, Denise (Matt) Jarvis, Doug (Shawna) Bensman, Matt (Kaley) Bensman, Dan (Mandy) Bensman; numerous other great nieces and nephews; special friends Dave and Denise Wofford. Barb was an assistant manager at Walmart for 21 years and most recently worked at the Urbana location. She was their mentor, close friend, and confidant. Her positive attitude was an inspiration to all who worked with her. She enjoyed gardening, baking, playing the slot machines with her husband and spending time with her grandson. Barb always wanted the best in life for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts. Due to her strong belief in organ donation, she was able to enhance other lives through her gift. In memory of her, we ask that you make a gift of your time, talents or monetarily to The Caring Kitchen of Urbana or the Cancer Association of Champaign County. Per her wishes, she was cremated. Please join us as we celebrate her life on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 3-5 p.m. in the Knights of Columbus hall, 518 N. Locust St., Urbana. Walter & Smith Funeral Home, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, is handling the arrangements. We can no longer see you with our eyes, touch you with our hands, but we will feel you in our hearts forever.
