Barbara L. Rolph

Barbara L. (Elliott) Rolph, 69, of Urbana, died at 8:10 P.M. Friday, December 20, 2013 in Mercy Memorial Hospital. She was born on June, 25, 1944 in Cambridge, OH, a daughter of Joseph D. and Esther (Hampton) Elliott Barbara, an owner of her own personalized cosmetics business, was very active in the Red Hat Society and was Queen of the Jaunty Gad-Abouts in Urbana. She was also a member of the Springfield Queens Council who annually collects can goods for the Salvation Army at Christmas. Other memberships included First Presbyterian Church of Urbana, American Legion and AMVETS. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Woody Rolph whom she married September 4, 1964, brother Robert Elliott of Marion, OH, sisters-in-law Genevieve George of Springfield, Marilyn Fisher of Plano TX, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 26, 2013 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana where funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. with the Rev. Kevin Horrigan officiating.
