Ashlie Dawn Margaret Greene

Ashlie Dawn Margaret (McFarland) Greene, age 27, of Urbana, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 25, 2016 at her residence. She was born on October 19, 1988, the daughter of Edward and Peggy (Hawkins) McFarland in Springfield. Ashlie attended Urbana High School and later married Robert Greene. Together they had a beautiful daughter, Anierra Augustine Greene. Ashlie will be remembered for her carefree nature. She was so fun and had no boundaries. She loved to sing and dance, joke and clown around. She was spontaneous and lit up the room when she walked in. She loved camping, or just being outdoors. She especially enjoyed taking her baby to the park. Ashlie was best friends with her three sisters, and most importantly, Ashlie lived every day as if it was her last. Along with her husband, Robert, and daughter, Anierra, Ashlie is survived by her mother, Peggy McFarland (Jay Hurst) of Urbana, and father, Edward Butch McFarland (Missy Bosler) of Urbana; three sisters, Emilie McFarland (Lucas Carpenter), Shawna McFarland (Christopher Worthen), and Aalyiah McFarland, all of Urbana; step-brother, Jeb Hurst of Urbana; two step-sisters, Savannah Bosler of Urbana, and Raven Jude of Kentucky; grandparents, Sharon and James Johnson, Howard and Irene Hawkins, and Larry McLaughlin; great-grandma, Janet Smith; three nieces, Lydia and Ava Carpenter, and Annalyn Worthen; a special cousin, Kaylee Hawkins; mother and father-in-law, Anthony (Amy) Greene of Urbana; one sister-in-law, Cierra (Aaron) Graves of Urbana; and brothers-in-law, Arragon Greene (Tiffany Shelpman) of London and Jacob (Kierra) Greene of DeGraff. Ashlie was preceded in death by her mamaw, Augustine Ross; an aunt, Lilly Gross; as well as great-grandparents, Margaret and Bob Neagle; and great-grandpa, John York Sr. Friends may gather from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. A service will be held by the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Chapter 979 beginning at 7 p.m. also in the funeral home, and a memorial service will immediately follow, with Pastor David Grise officiating. A Celebration of Life has also been planned for Ashlie on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Life Net Christian Fellowship Church (142 Dellinger Rd.
