Anthony W. "Tony" Leopard

Anthony W. Tony Leopard, 37, of Urbana, went home to be with his Lord at 5:10 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2015 in Springfield Regional Medical Center, Springfield. He was born on September 28, 1977 in Springfield, OH. Tony attended Urbana City Schools and West Liberty-Salem School. Tony, a stay at home Dad, was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, enjoyed the Buckeyes and the Bengals as well as taking walks, but most of all he cherished his family. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Leopard of Urbana; daughters, Lana Leopard and Carly Leopard of Urbana; sons, Dylan Leopard of West Liberty and Drew Leopard of Urbana; mother, Mary Ann (Donald DJ) Wheeler of Cable; father, Robert (Shirley) Leopard of Urbana; maternal grandmother, Winifred Bowers of Urbana; and half-brother, Peter (Flora) Blameuser of St. Augustine, FL; 2 step sisters; 4 step brothers; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Winifred Mae Leopard; paternal grandparents, Ed Leopard and Eva and Lee Zerkle; and maternal grandfather, E. Lowell Bowers. Family will received friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 in Grace Baptist Church, 960 Childrens Home Road, Urbana. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery.
