Alma "Phyllis" Litreal

Alma “Phyllis” Litreal, age 96, of Urbana, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 in Urbana Place. Phyllis was born to the late Dana and Ethel Faye (Clay) Collette on February 17, 1922 in Champaign County, Ohio. Phyllis was a hardworking farmwife and mother for many years and later took classes to become a LPN. She practiced in the home health care industry before beginning her office position at Grimes and later retiring. Phyllis was a thoughtful and caring woman with a wonderful sense of humor who was happiest when she was spending time with her family. She adored her husband Harley and cherished the many years they shared together.
She is survived by her son, Carl Oberley of Delaware; grandchildren, Ranee (Bruce) Gifford of Connecticut, Jason Poe of Urbana, Leanna (Andrew) Shorter of Delaware, and Jessica (Brad) Markin of Urbana; step-son, Robert Litreal; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley E. Litreal; step-daughter, Linda Suzette (Litreal) Poe; and one sister, Annis Yoder.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 12-1p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 1p.m. in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Entombment to follow at Oak Dale Cemetery.
