James F Parker

James F. Parker, 76, of Urbana, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 in The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
He was born on November 19, 1941 in Bellefontaine, OH, a son of Albert and Donna (Neal) Parker. He received his undergraduate degree from Urbana University and completed his education with a Master’s in Computer Science from Wright State University. He had worked as a computer science instructor and loved photography.
Survivors include his wife, Hayla (Sawyer) Parker; stepson, Stephen Shy; step-grandchildren, Patricia Baker and Catherine Baker; and special friends – The TeaBagger’s Gang.
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepdaughter, Dawn Baker.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the First Presbyterian Church, 116 W. Court St., Urbana with Pastor Beau Brown officiating.
The family is being served by the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.
